CDB - Cadastral Database
CDB allows the storage and retrieval of land parcels in an industry standard
SQL database. The database stores all cadastral parcel data in 'bearing-distance' format so that
survey accuracy is maintained. The data is stored in geographic co-ordinates and is a seamless fabric
with no zones or projections used for data storage. Zones and projections are used during data display and extraction.
The system stores original bearing and distance data and the topology of the boundary network.
It incorporates an update/maintenance methodology to ensure quality control standards are maintained.
All historical data is maintained in the database and it retains a complete history of changes to
the cadastral fabric. CDB can extract local area for manipulation and updating or for distribution to the
external data users.
